AKK 5.8GHz 6DBi Diamond Antenna-160MM

The AKK 6dBi Diamond Antenna is a single 5.8GHz RHCP omnidirectional antenna operating in the 5.5-6GHz band — the standard frequency range for 5.8GHz analog FPV video transmission. At 160MM with an SMA-J connector, it’s a straightforward, high-gain replacement for the stub antennas that come bundled with most VTX units.

Why upgrade to the AKK Diamond Antenna?

Stock rubber duck antennas are consistently the weakest link in analog FPV video systems — low gain, inconsistent polarisation, and poor build quality. The AKK Diamond addresses all three: RHCP polarisation reduces multipath interference during dynamic flight, 6dBi gain extends effective range and penetration, and the rigid 160MM construction maintains a consistent radiation pattern compared to floppy stub antennas. Pair it with components from our FPV VTX collection for a complete video system.

Key features:

6dBi gain with RHCP polarisation

Up to 6dBi gain provides meaningfully extended range and signal penetration over stock antennas. RHCP polarisation reduces signal degradation from reflections and multipath interference during aggressive, dynamic flight manoeuvres.

Omnidirectional radiation pattern

Full 360° omnidirectional coverage means consistent signal strength in all directions — no need to orient the antenna toward the drone for reliable video reception.

Low VSWR and 50Ω impedance

VSWR below 1.8 and standard 50Ω impedance ensures efficient power transfer from your VTX to the antenna with minimal signal reflection and loss.

High power handling — up to 50W

Rated for up to 50W maximum input power — compatible with high-power VTX setups including 800mW, 1.6W, and 2.5W transmitters.
